How It Started
BeTheAuthor started with a simple frustration: finding a gift that actually means something. Not a gift card. Not another gadget that ends up in a drawer. Something that says, "I know you — and I wanted to prove it."
We realized that the most meaningful details about a person — their weird habits, their catchphrases, the stories their family tells at dinner — rarely make it into anything permanent. They live in conversations and memories, and eventually they fade.
So we built a way to capture those details and turn them into a real book. You answer questions about someone. Our AI writes a complete, personalized novel starring them. We print it, and you give them something no one else in the world has.
What We Believe
