What buyers ask before ordering a book for him
Yes, because being handed a novel about yourself is a different proposition from being handed a novel. It is a real book of 220+ pages in about 18 to 20 chapters, and what pulls him in is recognizing himself in the third paragraph rather than the plot. If you are unsure, read the preview yourself before you pay and decide then.
Pick the tone, not the shelf. Comedy suits someone whose whole personality is bits and running jokes, Adventure suits someone competent and restless, Life Story suits a father or a grandfather at a point where the story is worth writing down, and Romance suits a partner. There are 14 genres and you see the story before you commit to it.
Only if you choose a Photo Template Cover, which places the photo you upload inside a designed template. The other two paths are AI-designed covers, either illustrated from a photo you upload or created from the story itself, and an illustrated cover is an interpretation rather than a portrait. You see four AI covers per round, can generate another round, and choose in the preview. Whichever path you take, the front carries the title and your name as the author.
Fix it in the preview, before you pay. You can adjust your answers, the title and the cover at that point, and the story is rewritten around the change. Check names and spellings carefully then, because after payment the book is printed exactly as you approved it.
The questions take about five minutes and the book is written and laid out in about an hour, and we email you when it is ready to preview. The digital edition is delivered within 24 hours. Printed books need about three business days of printing and then ship free with standard delivery inside the US, estimated at 11 to 14 business days, with priority and express available at checkout.
